The Book Review of A Lifetime: Part 2

Hello peoples of the world! So today is part 2 of the Ultimate Reviews and it is going to pretty awesome! If you didn’t see Part One of the Ultimate Reviews just click here and check it out for more information! Well, I guess it’s time for the reviews!

The books I’m reviewing in this post are She Is Not Invisible by Marcus Sedgwick, Catch a Falling Star by Kim Culbertson and Changers: Book One – Drew by T Cooper & Allison Glock – Cooper. Now let’s start off with She Is Not Invisible (aka a book I was 99% sure I reviewed but apparently didn’t). Well, let’s start with the fact that the book was good with actually quite a bit of twists and turns but the book felt too short and the end simple. In my opinion, the author could easily have made a series out of the plot in the book as it was a mystery-ish book where a couple of kids are looking for their strangely missing father. The end felt like a simple, almost feeble, attempt to make what could easily have been a series, end at just one book. All in all, though, the book was good though the characters could have been written/explored better. Now onto Catch a Falling Star! This book was pretty good. It was so romantic and sweet and well-paced….sigh….it is very much meant to be a summer read that you can definitely read by/on the beach. That’s really all I have to say. It was just so good and cute and romantic. Honestly, everyone should read the book, even the guys! Now onto Changers Book 1. Okay let’s start by saying that the only reason I picked the book up was because it seemed as if it could (could!) turn out kinda cool. Believe me when I say that the book was anything but cool. It felt so weird and awkward at times. (BTDubs, any guys out there who want to read the book will definitely want to skip probably pages 78 to 87 at least that’s the pages in the paperback copy. Like those pages were very very awkward and – just – no.) Also there felt like there was too much going on in the book, as if the authors just crammed everything they thought would work into the book. I still want to read the next book though so I guess that’s good….right?

Well, that’s it for today! Check back tomorrow for another awesome review as well as the Top Ten post! What do you guys think? Don’t forget to comment below what you think and follow us on Twitter and Facebook! Tata for now!!
