Welcome to the Book Human Interviews! Every week I will be interviewing one person from our overarching book community: a book blogger, a booktuber, or, a bookstagrammer. The idea is to get to know people in each sector more and connect with each other. If you’d like to be interviewed, fill out this form and I will schedule you in!
Today, we are talking to Amber, Jessica, and Emily, the book bloggers behind The Book Bratz! Follow along as we learn more about three of our fellow Book Humans…
Q1: What drew you to join the community you chose in the previous questions?
Amber: Before I started blogging (I was 16 at the time) I followed a few bloggers on social media and visited their blogs often. It inspired me to join up with my co-bloggers and create The Book Bratz
Jessica: We always wanted to talk about the books we loved in a community where other people read and loved them too!
Emily: I’ve always had an unhealthy love of reading and wanted to share that with others who share that unhealthy love.
Q2: What do you like the most about said community?
Amber: The people in the community are always super supportive of each other and in courage individuality which is super important. It seems like an intimidating community, but once you join it we got your back
Jessica: How tight-knit everyone is:)
Q3: What’s a book you will always recommend – regardless of age or genre – and why?
Amber: Illuminae! The format of Illuminae is interesting and I’ve got a couple of people who aren’t into reading hooked on it. It’s fun and it’s different!
Jessica: They both die at the end — a total tearjerker.
Emily: Beautiful Creatures. I don’t know exactly what it is about the book but I love it so much. I can read the whole series over and over again.
Lastly, here are three posts that I love from their blog:
