Book Humans Interviews: Books and Bees

Welcome to the Book Human Interviews! Every week I will be interviewing one person from our overarching book community: a book blogger, a booktuber, or, a bookstagrammer. The idea is to get to know people in each sector more and connect with each other. If you’d like to be interviewed, fill out this form and I will schedule you in!

Today, we are talking to Catherine, the book blogger behind Books and Bees! Follow along as we learn more about one of our fellow Book Humans…

Q1: What drew you to join the community you chose in the previous questions?
I love reading and already followed a few book bloggers. In need of a hobby to bring me joy, I made a blog and accompanying social media!

Q2: What do you like the most about said community?
I like that people often share more personal aspects of themselves. Even just sharing what you’re doing over the weekend is lovely and leads to lots of fun conversations where books and life are discussed.

Q3: What’s a book you will always recommend – regardless of age or genre – and why?
I’d say Good Omens, since this was my go-to before the series came out. I think that though the book is written for adults, the humor and content is not particularly inappropriate for bookish children with parental guidance. It’s also a very enjoyable read for many people of different reading preferences!

Lastly, here are three posts that I love from their blog:

  1. Can you be the wrong audience for a book?
  2. Making Time for Reading
  3. Ending 2019: A Final TBR
